Does Hey Kanga follow my state Curriculum?

All Hey Kanga physical education lessons and videos follow the Shape National Curriculum for physical education, health and social emotional learning and specific learning outcomes for each.  Core skills and vocabulary are progressive and reviewed each year and increase in complexity.

 

Can International Schools use Hey Kanga?

Hey Kanga lessons are designed around the UK National Curriculum and the US National Curriculum which we have found to be relevant with systems used in most schools around the world.

How many videos does Hey Kanga have?

Hey Kanga has over 1000 videos for children ages 3 years to 18 years.  Videos can be easily filtered by age, difficulty, genre and music type.

 

I am not very technical, can I still use Hey Kanga?

We designed Hey Kanga to be very easy to use and no tech skills required.  Everything is done with a click of a button!

 

Do I have to purchase a subscription?

School subscriptions can be billed monthly or yearly.

 

Do I need to purchase equipment to use the videos?

While some of our videos do use equipment such as drum sticks and yoga balls and yoga mats, most videos offer a no-equipment alternative and more than half of our video catalogue does not require any equipment at all.

 

Do you sell equipment for the DrumFIT videos?

Yes, we sell cardio-drumming equipment for DrumFIT in sets to fit all budgets.  Reach out to us here for information on purchasing equipment.  Equipment warranty can be viewed here.

 

Is Hey Kanga only for Physical Education teachers?

Hey Kanga is for all teachers!  We encourage teachers to use our movement and mindful videos throughout the learning day to help pupils with transitions, increased focus and attention and improved academic performance.

 

Does Hey Kanga have reporting features available?

Hey Kanga has complex reporting features that can be used by principals or district administrators to view activity reports, subscription details and drill down on popular video choices by school or individuals.

Can I download the videos to play offline?

Yes, videos can be downloaded and are available to you offline. Follow the directions in the ‘My Downloads’ section.

Is Hey Kanga suitable for homeschooling families?

Yes, we have lots of homeschool families who are enjoying the Hey Kanga platform with their homeschooling students.  Individual subscriptions are available for home users. Please contact us directly to sign up as a home user.

Hey Kanga starts at just $525/year or $60/month for a single school.

We also offer a 30% discount on annual subscriptions for Title One schools.

 

Do you accept payment by PO?

Yes, we accept Purchase Orders for any annual subscription. Please note there is a $25 check processing fee for orders under $500. Payment by credit card is preferred.

 

Is Hey Kanga part of my Twinkl account?

Although Hey Kanga is part of the TwinklHive, Hey Kanga is a separate company from Twinkl and therefore subscriptions are not currently linked to your Twinkl subscription.
